Quiz Night 2012

The annual Quiz Night is the major fund-raiser for the club and is a lot of fun, as I’m sure all those that attended last year would agree. Last year’s event raised almost $17,000 which went towards the new lights at Henry Jeffery Oval. This year’s function is aimed at raising funds to redevelop the clubrooms.

There will be heaps & heaps of prizes and loads of items up for Auction. Drinks will be available from the bar (no BYO), and you are most welcome to bring your own food platters.

Everyone can contribute to the success of the event in the following ways:

  1. Buy a ticket for the night, tables of 10 are available. Be aware seats sold out quickly last year, so get in early.
  2. Help by supplying goods/services that can be auctioned on the night.

When: Friday 29th June, 7:00pm (Doors open 6.30pm)
Where: Main Hall of the East Fremantle Football Club, Moss Street, East Fremantle
Tickets: Tables of 10, Tickets $15 per head
Booking Info: Quiz Night Poster 2012

Positions Vacant

Like all junior sporting clubs, we are dependant on the help and support of volunteers. Currently we have one vacancy that we would like filled, which is Club Registrar. Currently this is done by Penny Lombardo, a long term servant of the club who has held many roles over recent years. This season she has taken on a role at District Level and is looking for an “apprentice” to fast track this season and take on the role themselves next season. This is a great way to enter into club life and that sort of support in handover is rare, so jump onboard.

If you are interested in this role please email our President Travis French.

History

The East Fremantle Junior Football Club was established in the early 1950′s and is based at the picturesque Henry Jeffery Oval. The Power has a rich history and has produced many WAFL, VFL and AFL footballers.

The Power caters for all grades from AUSKick to under 17′s and whilst numbers are strong, we are always looking for new players to further strengthen our teams.
